Two unknown African men entered butchery premises in Nkoane Road, Thabong, on Wednesday evening, 08 December 2021. They demanded cash and a cellphone.
Suspects robbed an undisclosed amount of cash and a cellphone at gun point, and fled the scene on foot.
The manager jumped unto his car and chased them. He managed to bump one suspect to the ground.
Allegedly, the suspect possessed a Z88 pistol handgun with a filed-off serial number, and 33 live ammunitions.
Thabong residents assisted in apprehending the suspect and informed the police. They also handed the firearm to the members.
