Who are we?
Kasi Voice News (KVN) is an online publication based in Welkom in the Lejweleputswa District Municipality in the Free State Province. KVN as a news publication will target the entire District as a whole, and offer to the reader valuable information, community news, engaging articles, empowering stories and updating masses of on-going events pack.
The publication subjects to Section 16: Sub-Section (a) of the Constitution, which endorses Freedom of Press. It aims to provide information and news that is accurate, inspiring, interactive, and educational to the community it serves. The publication also aims to serve small businesses around Lejweleputswa District in a form of writing stories that will be deemed valuable to different economic sectors.In bid to communicate with the masses with the language that they speak, Kasi Voice News endorses right to disseminate information to indigenous languages that people understands. The proposed language quotas of the publication are 75% English and 25% Sesotho. This means that, some articles will be published in Sesotho which will amount to 25%.
