The Allanridge police station is working tirelessly to locate three men who robbed a branch manager of a cash loan at Finance World in Nyakallong.
According to Police Spokesperson Captain Stephen Thakeng, three armed robbers who were driving a sedan light motor vehicle with Gauteng Province registration numbers attacked the branch manager, robbed undisclosed amount of cash and cellphones.
“On the 4 July 2021 at about 07:50 Mr Morne Botha, branch manager of Finance World at Nyakallong, arrived at his working premises.
He was trying to open the gate when three unknown African men wearing masks to cover their faces,” Captain Thakeng told Kasi Voice News.
It is further alleged that he was pointed with handguns and undisclosed amount of cash was robbed and his two cellphones were robbed. “There were clients who were already waiting to be served who witnessed this horrible incident,” Captain Thakeng further revealed.
“The suspects sped off with a silver grey Audi sedan with this last numbers on the registration numbers seen “19” GP.
According to eyewitness, there was another silver grey Audi at back street. No shots fired and no injuries sustained,” a portion of statement read.
Allanridge SAPS was informed about the incident and a case of Armed Robbery was registered.
