Boshof : The driver and his crew of a truck belonging to Weich and Son Trust stopped to check the wheels then four unknown men with balaclavas approached them, pointed them with hand guns.
Undisclosed of money was robbed. Manhunt has been launched to trace these armed robbers.
On the Tuesday, 19 October 2021 at about 19:18 a 27 year old truck driver and his crew were traveling from Kimberly to Boshof in R64 road with a white truck with Free State registration number.
While they were traveling the driver stopped as he felt that some of the wheels were loose then he parked the truck beside the road. While checking the tyres, he was allegedly approached by four unknown African men with their faces covered with balaclavas, approached them. One of suspects had a firearm and pointed them and instructed them to lie on the ground.
Undisclosed amount of cash was robbed and his cellphone was also taken. Then suspects drove off with a vehicle that looked like Corsa or Bantam bakkie from the scene towards Kimberly direction.
