Manhunt has been launched to trace four armed men for robbing a store of cellphones and clothing at gunpoint on Monday, 20 September 2021, in Thabong, Welkom.
Around 16:50, four men wearing masks entered Markham store at Boitumelo Mall. One of them drew out a gun and pointed it at a 25-year-old Markham employee.
The men managed to get away with 51 cellphones; clothes worth R2 000 and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Suspects left on foot, and it was unknown whether a getaway car was used thereafter.
A case of Business Robbery has been registered for further investigation.
