QwaQwa cops probe two deaths, one ‘headless’ body burnt beyond recognition!

A police investigation is underway in Namahadi and Phuthaditjhaba after shocking discovery of two bodies.

Police spokesperson Mmako Mophirin said a headless burned body was discovered by the community members of the Masimomg section at Nahamadi, while another lifeless body was uncovered in Phuthaditjhaba.

The body of the deceased was burnt beyond recognition inside a donga, the identity and gender of the victim is not known at this stage.

“The Phuthaditjhaba police received information on a separate incident where the body of an unknown 25-year-old man was discovered. The deceased succumbed to gunshot wounds,” Mophiring said.

“The motive behind the two murders is unknown however an inquest has been opened into their suspicious deaths,” added Mophiring.
