A 39-year-old man has been arrested for dealing with dagga in Meqheleng at Zone 7 near Ficksburg.
Police spokesperson, Phumelelo Dhlamini, said the Ficksburg police made a follow up following tip-off received about the dagga operation in the area.
“When members arrived at the scene, they searched the house and found a 39-year-old suspect busy preparing dagga and they confiscated 141 dagga packages,” reveals Dhlamini.
It is further reported that, R265 cash suspected to have been gained through selling dagga was also seized.
In the same vicinity, the police made a swift arrest of a 24-year-old domestic violence suspect in Zone 4, for violating conditions of protection order.
