Lejweleputswa police officers prioritises safer festive season within communities

Police officers within the Lejweleputswa were out in full force stamping the authority of the state in the community during the festive period and beyond.

Police operations were the order of the day as the Safer festive Season Inspection Tour headed to townships such as Allanridge, Odendaalsrus, Boshof, Thabong and Hertzogville.

As part of ensuring police visibility, joints roadblocks were conducted in the roads, malls and within the communities to ensure that there is visibility and law abiding citizens feel safe during this festive season.

In Herzogville, 18 vehicles were searched and a written summon titled: J534, were issued to persons driving without a valid driver’s license.

In Thabong, members of Thabong Support Services conducted visible policing and vehicle check points in Boitumelo Mall, Shopping Complex and Thabong Policing precinct.

While intensifying road blocks, the Boshoff officers conducted a smooth run of safer operation to ensure police visibility.
