28-year-old woman arrested for murder in Frankfort

After a murder case was reported in Frankfort on Sunday, 12 September 2021, a 28-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the case.

Members of Mafube SAPS attended to a complaint where it was reported that a person was being stabbed at one of the households in Namahadi, Frankfort.

Upon arrival, one of the male family members showed the officers a man inside the house who laid motionless on the floor.On closer inspection, it was discovered that the victim sustained two stab wounds to the chest. He was pronounced dead by the paramedics on scene.The deceased was classified as Moeketsi Klaas Mokoena (29).

Mafube SAPS Detective Unit traced and arrested the 28-year-old woman identified as a suspect. A murder weapon and the victim’s clothes were confiscated from the woman.

She will be charged with murder and will soon appear before the Frankfort Magistrates’ Court.
