South African musician Tyla Laura Seethal is set to debut her self titled album this coming Friday, March
22.
This album will consist of 14 songs and will feature artists such as Kelvin Momo, Tems, Gunna, Becky and Travis Scott.
Tyla’s album includes the track ‘Water’, which has earned her the distinction of being the youngest African to win a Grammy Award at the age of 22.
Specifically, she won the Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance, a newly introduced category at the 2024 Grammy Awards held on February 4.
Additionally, her song ‘Truth or Dare’ made its debut at No. 23 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, as reported by @chartdata on X (formerly Twitter).
Furthermore, Tyla was recently recognized at the South African Style Awards for her exceptional style as a performing artist in music.
