Lejweleputswa police spokesperson captain Stephen Thakeng said the robbery occurred just after midnight on Saturday.
“Security officers were on duty guarding Welgelee Silos, when an alarm went off, one of the security went out to inspect the premises and when he came back he told his colleague that copper cable has been tampered.” said Thakeng.
