Thabong community urged to assist police to track down murderers of 11-year-old girl

Police appear to be pulling out all the stops to bring to book those behind the murder of 11-year-old girl found murdered in Thabong, after hard efforts of search.

Last week on Wednesday, the police were informed about the discovery of the body of a girl child by a passer by who informed the police.

Upon arrival, SAPS members found a lifeless body of a girl lying motionless on the ground next to the grave.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased girl was Omphile Seitshiro.

After she failed to return home from school, her family reported her missing.

The police registered a missing file and then initiated the search.

According to Lejweleputswa police spokesperson captain Stephen Thakeng, the motive of the killing is still unknown and thus investigations continues.

The police have pleaded with community members to assist law authorities in tracing perpetrators of this heinous crime.
