Search for missing 4-year-old Thabong girl still under way

The whereabouts of a 4-year-old Hlonolofatso Ntherisi from Thabong are still unknown, eight days since her disappearance on March 5, and her family continues to appeal for any information that could lead to her safe return.

The police unit, Lejweleputswa District FCS joined by caring community members, embarked on a search hunt this morning for the missing child.

District police spokesperson captain Stephen Thakeng said, the grandmother of the missing reported her missing days after she couldn’t make a way back home.

“The investigation team led by Detective Warrant Officer Twala of Lejweleputswa District FCS conducted a thorough search,” said Thakeng.

“The police search was intensified when residents of Thabong and the Airwing were part. Houses and bushes were visited to look for the child.

“Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of this four (4) year old girl child, is urged to contact Detective Warrant Officer Thabiso Twala of Lejweleputswa District FCS on 072 834 7293 or contact Police Emergency number 08600 10111,” appealed Thakeng.

Meanwhile, the district commissioner of Lejweleputswa, Major General Lerato Molale applauded all efforts made by the station commander of Thabong, Brigadier Solomon and his team.

“We will continue to leave no stone unturned until the child is found. We still have hope and we will never give up now, but residents must come forward with information,” Molale said.
