Three unknown men entered and robbed a bowling club in Riebeeckstad, Welkom on Tuesday, 21 September 2021.
The complainant, Roy James Deysel (61), alleged he was with his friend, Mike Deas, and a lady bartender when three masked men entered the club in Craid Avenue, Riebeeckstad.
Suspects demanded cash and one of them allegedly had a gun. Deysel and his friend were searched and robbed of a silver Ruga firearm with six live rounds; a black holster; and their cellphones.
Estimated value of stolen items is R25 000.
According to the eyewitness, these armed robbers used a silver Volkswagen Golf with unknown registration numbers to flee the scene.
A case of Business Robbery has been registered for further investigation.
