Rewind Pub in Saaiplas, Virginia was about to close when it was robbed cash and cigarettes at gun point on Tuesday, 21 September 2021.
A 30-year-old female employee was about to close the business premises when five unknown and masked men entered, two of which had handguns. She and the patrons were pointed with these guns and instructed to lie on the floor.
Cash was taken from the till and cigarettes from the shelves. Perpetrators also went to the cashier selling shisanyama in the kitchen and another cash was taken from the till at gun point too.
Five suspects fled the scene without shots fired and no one was harmed.
The incident was reported to Virginia Police Station.
A case of Business Robbery was registered for further investigation.
