The Brandfort police have launched a manhunt, after a body of an unknown man was found with stab wounds in an open field in Majwemasweu, Brandfort.
Lejweleputswa district spokesperson Stephen Thakeng said this case emanates from December last year, where residents woke to a shocking revelation to discover a lifeless body in their street.
He said, the search is still continuing for the relatives of the deceased, and it has been for over a period of months with no luck of finding those who are close to the deceased.
“The deceased is unknown yet and he is kept in Government Morgue,” Thakeng explained.
Thakeng further revealed that murder case was opened for investigation, and that manhunt is underway for murder suspects.
“The deceased is estimated to be between the ages of 30 and 40, he was wearing a black jersey and blue track pants,” Thakeng labelled the deceased.
“Anyone with information about suspects or relatives may contact Detective Sergeant Vuisile Skwiti on 082 301 6311 or police emergency number on 08600 10111,” he said.
