The Police request members of the public to help in tracing relatives of an unknown man who was struck by a truck on Friday, 28 May 2021 at about 11:30 at Jasons road in Riebeeckstad.
The deceased man is dark in complexion, and he was wearing navy blue lumber jacket, navy blue pants, white belt and black shoes.
According to SAPS spokesperson Stephen Thakeng, the man is believed to be in his 25 and 30 years.
The deceased was never identified, and his body has been kept at the Welkom government morgue.
The Police therefore request anyone with information regarding the deceased relatives to contact Detective Warrant Officer Elliot Khutsoane on the following numbers: 083 940 1243 or alternatively contact Police Emergency number 08600 10111 .
