Odendaalsrus| Members were on their Crime Combating duties at Kutloanong when they decided to visit a well known alleged drug dealer in a section called K6, Odendaalsrus.
Members approached a house at K6 Section; requested to search and received permission on Friday, 03 December 2021.
“Upon their search, members found five full Mandrax tablets and 10 halves; four Crystal Meth sachets; cash amounting to R230,” says Captain Thakeng.
A 32-year-old man was arrested for dealing in drugs.
The team proceeded to another house at Block 7, Kutloanong. They found a 29-year-old man with seven halves of Mandrax tablets and two quarters; as well as cash amounting to R80.
The suspect will appear before Odendaalsrus Magistrate Court facing dealing in drugs on Monday, 06 December 2021.
“It’s clear that drugs are all over, but we will continue removing them from our streets. Keep up this excellent work POP members,” praised Major General Lerato Molale.
