Ventersburg : Stop and Search operation was conducted at Ventersburg, two drug dealers were arrested with Mandrax and Nyaope drugs.
On Saturday, 14 August 2021 members of Welkom Public Order Policing ( POP) were busy conducting Stop and Search operation at Mmamahabane when a 37 year old man was found with tablets of Mandrax in his possession and cash.
“In a separate incident, a 27 year old man was arrested for possession of seven small plastic bags with Nyaope drugs and cash was also found in his possession. The two suspected drug dealers are facing a charge of dealing in drugs,” SAPS Spokesperson Stephen Thakeng revealed to Kasi Voice News.
It is reported, suspects will both appear at the Ventersburg Magistrate Court on Monday, 16 August 2021.
The District Commissioner of Lejweleputswa, Maj Gen Lerato Molale lauded these members of Welkom Public Order Policing for their commitment to remove drug dealers from our streets.
