Two bodies of unknown men were found on a decomposed state in Virginia on Thursday, 26 January 2023, and the second one on Sunday, September 3, 2023.
The first deceased body was discovered by a shepherd in Saaiplaas Slime dam on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at about 13:45, and the passerby alerted the police immediately.
“Upon arrival at the scene, we found a lifeless body of a male person who was in a decomposed state. The deceased was wearing physical training short, no top and shoes. He is about 1.7 meters tall, with no hair and his complexion could not be determined,” said Lejweleputswa spokesperson Stephen Thakeng.
The second deceased body of a male person was found in Tikwe River Lodge on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at about 11:40 by a person who went to pray at the river and informed the Police.
“The body was found wearing a black jean, green Springbok t-shirt, no shoes, he could be 1.7 meters tall and with short black hair,” Thakeng added.
Police request community to help them trace relatives of the deceased.

The two deceased bodies are still at Government Mortuary in Welkom, so far no one has come forward to identify the deceased.
