Operation Safer Festive Season continues as members clamp down on drug posts in Mangaung on Saturday, 22 January 2022.
Crime Intelligence (CI) Unit Commander briefed Tactical Response Team on identified drug posts and members operationalised the intel, visiting a house in King Edward Street, Willows on Saturday, 22 January 2022.
Upon their search, members found 17 small dagga bags and 17 dagga joints with an estimated street value of R1 200. They also found cash.
The 29-year-old African male living in the unit was arrested for dealing in dagga.
Still at the house, members continued with the search and found 11 more small dagga bags and cash in another African male’s pockets who also lives there. He was also arrested for dealing in dagga.
Members registered two separate cases of dealing in dagga and duo suspects (28 and 37) will apprear before Bloemfontein Magistrates Court on Monday, 24 January 2022.
