SAPS members arrest a 24-year-old male believed to be part of a group that shot and killed trio and injured duo was on Wednesday, 03 November 2021, in Theunissen.
Thabong Detective Services members requested Welkom Public Order Policing Task Team’s assistance in tracing the suspect.
Received information led to finding two people playing snooker game at a tuck shop.
They arrested the 24-year-old suspect for killing three family members and injuring their two friends who visited the evening of 15 October 2021, in Theunissen.
The suspect will appear before Theunissen Magistrate Court on three counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder on Thursday, 11 November 2021.
Lejweleputswa District Commissioner, Major General Lerato Molale, applauded the joint venture between Thabong Detective Services and Welkom POP Task Team.
