Two school boys arrested for fatally stabbing another minor

Complaint received by the police and a body of a 13-year-old being found, led to the arrest of duo juveniles on Friday, 05 November 2021.

Hertzogville Police received a complaint of a fight in progress in front of Kegomoditswe Primary school.

Upon the arrival of Sergeant TJ Mafale, he found the body of a 13 year old boy lying on the street with a stab wound on his chest.

Emergency Medical Services classified the boy dead after their dispatch to the scene.

Police arrested two juveniles for murder at the scene. They also seized the murder weapon.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the fight was over a soccer game involving money.

Duo juveniles, after their release under parents’ custody, will appear before Hertzogville Magistrate Court on Tuesday, 09 November 2021.
