Two men sought for house robbery, car hijacking

Fezile Dabi district police spokesperson captain Malebo Khosana says the Zamdela police have launched a manhunt of two suspects for committed crimes yesterday, June 5.

Khosana said the duo are alleged to have committed house robbery and car hijacking in Amelia West Zamdela.

“The 38-year-old victim said he had just gotten home from QwaQwa when he entered his place of residence and parked his vehicle.

“However, he then decided to open the bonnet of the vehicle to check if the water in the vehicle was sufficient,” said Khosana.

“Upon his vehicle inspection he was approached by two unknown males who order him to lay on the ground.

One suspect further took the keys of the house from the victim and opened the house and took out his laptop.

“He further went inside the car to start it and the second suspect accompanied him, leaving the victim on the ground,” explained Khosana.

It is reported that the complainant said the two unknown suspects fled off with his laptop value worth R 3 500, his white Volkswagen Polo with registration number DWS 452 FS valued at R55 000.00.

Khosaya says anyone who could help the police trace the alleged suspects is urged to contact constable Kgaugelo Muvhango of Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit on 076 791 5740 or send an anonymous tip-off to MySapsApp.
