IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:

1.Yellow Level 2 warning for disruptive rain is expected over the eastern part of the Eastern Cape and in places over KwaZulu-Natal resulting in flooding of roads, settlements and low lying areas, traffic disruptions, as well as danger
to livestock and livelihoods.

TEMPERATURE AND UVB FORECAST

FREE STATE:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

NORTHERN CAPE:

Temperature: Morning fog patches along the coast but fine in the north at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated to scattered thundershowers over the eastern and southern parts by the afternoon. 

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable in the morning becoming moderate to fresh westerly in the afternoon. 

EASTERN CAPE:

The Western half – Temperature: Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate south easterly becoming easterly in the afternoon.

The Eastern half  Temperature: Cloudy and cold with widespread showers and thundershowers.

The Eastern half  Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate south easterly.

KWAZULU-NATAL:

Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm. It will become cloudy from the south with widespread showers and thundershowers

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly in the north at first, otherwise southerly to south-westerly. It will become moderate southeasterly in the afternoon
