On Thursday, 02 September 2021, members of the Odendaalsrus SAPS conducted a road safety campaign following a number of accidents reported in the area.
From 08:00 of the Thursday, members of the Odendaalsrus Social Crime Prevention Unit conducted a road safety campaign as a reminder to road users and school children of the importance of safety on the road.
The unit was under the leadership of Sergent Ketekgile Mavuso.
Constables Nomathemba Khoza, Mxoli Makoti and Rhonwen Beukes visited TS Matlaletsa School to address and educate learners about road safety.

They also issued pamphlets containing road safety information to the learners. The members of the Social Crime Prevention Unit were also a part of the event.
Motorists and pedestrians were also given tips regarding road safety.
