Man(36) busted with stolen items in Kutlwanong

On Saturday, July 31, 2021, members of the SAPS Odendaalsrus Patrol Unit were on vehicle crime prevention when they noticed a suspicious looking person with commodities in Kutlwanong (Block 4).

At about 04:05, two officers were busy with their vehicle patrol in Block 4, when they approached a 36-year-old man and asked for the documents to be presented after he was found in possession with stolen items.

The items found were a hi-fi set, electric kettle and tin food stuff. A knife was also found in his possession.

The suspect was arrested instantly, and will be facing possession of suspected stolen items, possession of dangerous weapon and failure to comply with Covid 19 pandemic regulations (Curfew).

He will appear before the Odendaalsrus Magistrate Court on Monday, 2 August 2021.

Members of SAPS were applauded for been vigilant while on crime prevention patrol.
