Thabong : SAPS members of Partnership Policing conducted a door-to-door awareness in different Sectors and pamphlets with crime hints were distributed to residents.
Members of Thabong Partnership Policing took to Thabong on Wednesday, to conduct this initiative to raise awareness on domestic violence, gender Based Violence, Assaults, alcohol and drug abuse.
The following Sectors one, three and four were focused through this awareness after some of the crimes were reported.

A close to 250 Crime Prevention hints pamphlets for Festive Season were distributed in these specific hot spots.
This was really an effective as quite a number of residents were reached in their respective houses and others managed to hear the call of Thabong Partnership Policing to address them.
They listened and asked clarity seeking questions on what officers spoke about.
Since we are facing Festive Season this kind of these awareness campaigns will be conducted frequently because there is a proverb that says “forewarned is forearmed”.
