Manhunt launched for suspects involved in gruesome murder, house robbery

The Welkom police are up in arms and probing the baffling kidnapping and gruesome murder of Mojakisane Lesoetsa, who was an engineer at Beatrix Mine in Theunissen.

According to Lejweleputswa police spokesperson Stephen Thakeng, the 30-year-old man was kidnapped, when the alleged suspects invaded his home this past Monday, January 8.

Revealing the ordeal, Thakeng says some of the personal items and household appliances were stolen from the house.

“The suspects drove off with Lesoetsa in his Volkswagen Polo. The vehicle was found burned in field next to St Helena Hospital, in Welkom on Saturday, January 6.The body was found the next day in Virginia with multiple injuries” says Thakeng.
