Acting Station Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Simon Ceba, and Partnership Policing members organized an Imbizo with Government departments in attendance, at Sipho Mutsi Sports Centre, Odendaalsrus.
During the Imbizo, members honoured and discussed 16 Days of Activism Against Women and Children.
Furthermore, they did Crime Pattern Analysis; warning the community of how criminals usually operate during festive season and how to prevent criminal activities – through Festive Season Crime Prevention Hints given.
As of late, there has been an increase in the destruction of Municipality property, from vandalism to theft. As part of their address, members also advised the community to refrain from this act of crime, and to report incidents to the police.
