Hertzogville police have extended love and generosity to a 10-year-old kid in need right at the start of
February, the month of love.
Cekani Pitso (10), who appeared to be having a lot of difficulties in life, received attention from SAPS members, the Victim Empowerment Program, and the Community Policing Forum.
The boy was messy; his school uniform was dirty and tattered; and his shoes were too big.
“The boy was not properly looked after; he is surviving with one plate he receives at school,” said Lejweleputswa police spokesperson Stephen Thakeng.
The boy was cleaned, put on a new uniform, and sent back to his school classroom.
“That positive gesture made a difference and brought a smile to the boy’s face. The SAPS, VEP and CPF members were applauded by The Provincial Commissioner of the Free State, Lt Gen Baile Motswenyane,” said Thakeng.
