Cops need help to locate missing Teen in Thabong

Ongratile Moreki, a 16-year-old teenage girl from Thabong, went missing on her way to school on Friday, January 26 at about 07:05 in the morning.

Modiehi Betty Priscilla Moreki reported that her 16-year old daughter, left home dressed in a school inform and books.

During the night she realized that her daughter has never came back from the school.

Moreki contacted one of her friend who informed her that her daughter never came to school on Friday,
January 26.

According to Lejweleputswa police spokesperson, Stephen Thakeng, on Sunday, January 28 at 18:00 pm, an African boy known to her arrived at her house and he brought Ongratile’s school bag with uniform inside.

“When asked how did he got hold of this bag, the boy responded that another boy with his name known to the family gave him so that school bag with uniform should be given to Ongratile’s mother”, says Thakeng.

A case of Missing Persons File was registered for further investigation.

“Should anyone have informationce leading to the tracing of this school learner, Ongratile Moreki, may contact detective warrant officer Bertus Olivier on 082 885 5271 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111,” said Thakeng.
