Junior Management Core (JMC), led by their Lejweleputswa Chairperson, Warrant Officer Tshepo Sejake conducted an operation targeted at Hertzogville and Hoopstad on Tuesday, 14 December 2021.
Members arrested a 25-year-old man with 3 882g of dagga; and 14 full Mandrax tablets in Hertzogville.

Other duo suspects were arrested with 91 packets of medium finger of dagga; 19 small ones and 43 dagga rolls.

The operation then headed to Hoopstad where members arrested a 45-year-old woman for selling liquor at unregistered premises.
During the arrest, 127 full cases of Black Label 750 ml; and two full cases of Castle Lite 750 ml were seized.
Members also arrested eight suspects for purchasing liquor at unregistered premises.
All arrested suspects are facing dealing in dagga; possession of drugs; drinking in public; contravention of Covid-19 regulations – not wearing a mask.
Lejweleputswa District Commissioner, Major General Lerato Molale, applauded the members for setting an excellent example to ensure that law abiding citizens are and feel safe.
“Drugs and liquor are the root cases of the crimes and thus we regard these arrests and seizures as a breakthrough, said General Molale.
