Three house robbers wanted after a girl was assaulted, fatally stabbed in Bronville

Bronville: Two female siblings were asleep at their home when three unknown African men gained entrance and brutally stabbed and killed the elder sister.

It is reported that on Saturday, 7 August 2021 at midnight, a 16-year-old girl was with her younger sister at their home in Extension, 18 Bronville, Welkom, when perpetrators assaulted lasses.

Three unknown African men gained entrance inside the shack while their father was at work.

The 9-year-old girl was instructed to keep quiet and vowed to not harm her.

The suspects assaulted and stabbed the girl and she sustained severe wounds, a deep stab wound in the middle of her head, left side of her forehead, left ring finger was cut off and there were bruises on her neck.

After the house robbery ordeal, the suspects fled the scene, and the little sister thought that her elder sister was asleep.

In the morning of the following day, at about 07:30, their father arrived from work, the 9-year-old related what happened during the night.

The father headed to where the incident occurred, and found the stab wounds and she was certified dead at the scene by Emergency Medical Services personnel.

The deceased was identified as Sandisiwe Ntshangase (16). Even her cellphone was nowhere to be found.

A case of murder has been registered for further investigation.
