Road from Allanridge to Bothaville has been closed following recent heavy rains and police warn motorists to use alternative routes to travel to their destinations.
It has bee raining heavy these days and the R30 road is closed due to flooding next to Allanridge Silos.
Motorists are instructed to use the following routes: those travelling from Bloemfontein should use N1 off ramp to Parys towards Orkney; those from Welkom must use Kroonstad/Parys to Orkney; motorists from Bothaville towards Kroonstad should join the N1 road.
Nyakallong has also been hit by the floods. Residents’ houses are in water as a result of these heavy rains.
