Police in Welkom request assistance from members of the community to locate Wiseman Qina Mthembu who went missing on last month on 30 April.
Lejweleputswa district police spokesperson Stephen Thakeng said the police opened a missing file after Mthembu was reported missing.
“According to her sister, Wiseman visited her at her workplace about 10:00, then went to the tavern with his friend. He allegedly refused to leave the liquor premises and never returned to her sister’s residence that night,” Thakeng said.
“Wiseman is not familiar with Welkom and was supposed to return to Kwazulu Natal on Sunday, 02 May, but he was never seen since,” he detailed further.
The missing adult is descired as
He is dark in complexion, a medium build and has beard on his ckeek.
He was last seen wearing a black and green t-shirt and a white sporty.
Anyone with information that will lead to the tracing of Wiseman Qina Mthembu safely back home, is urged to contact investigating officer, captain Kinini Kganare of Welkom SAPS on cellphone number 082 301 3075 or contact Police Emergency number 08600 10111.
