Following his insolent statement on Sunday, the embattled suspended ANC’s Secretary General Ace Magashule is yet again in bum trip with the majority party after he was heard calling on disbanded ANC structures to disobey the leadership.
During a media briefing on Tuesday, 06 July 2021, ANC’s Deputy Secretary General said the ruling party will call on the suspended SG to explain himself on bold statements he made.
“In bid to understand moral of the story, we will ask him to explain himself,”
said Duarte.
Citing her views, Duarte says there are no structures that are disbanded as it would be favour of certain individuals.
Magashule was amongst notable people that came through to former President Jacob Zuma’s homestead in Nkandla to show his esteemed support.
Zuma who is standing by his assertion that Justice Raymond Zondo should have recused himself from the state capture inquiry, has filed urgent application for a stay of execution of his arrest.
Zuma has been applying for a stay of his 15-month prison sentence until the Constitutional Court decides on his rescission application next Monday, 12 July 2021.
