Hani Park reverend vanishes with his Quantum, congregants left waiting!

The Bronville police have registered a missing person file after a reverend was reported missing yesterday, June 08th.

According to the Lejweleputswa police spokesperson, captain Stephen Thakeng, the missing person is reverend Putlane John Tlake, who is a pastor and a traditional healer.

“Upon his disappearance, the reverend was supposed to transport church congregants to attend a funeral in Hennenman,” said Thakeng.

The reverend left the house in his white Impendulo Quantum with registration number, FXL 024 FS, at around 05:00 on Saturday morning, 3rd June, to fetch the church congregants. However, the reverend residing at house number 35144 in Hani Park, Bronville, never arrived to fetch the congregants.

No one seems to know where the missing person could have went as he apparently has no friends within the Matjhabeng towns region.

“He was last seen wearing a navy blue, white and light blue stripped shirt with long navy blue pants and brown frame spectacles. Both clothing items are said to be new,” informed Thakeng.

Reverend Tlake is dark-brown in complexion with short hair and has a mustache with black beard. He could be 1,65m tall and weighs 80kg. Furthermore, the missing reverend can fluently speak Southern Sesotho, English and IsiXhosa.

“Anyone with information regarding reverend Tlake’s whereabouts and/or his mini bus should contact detective sergeant Hennita Motaung on 0721240441/ 0579109928 during office hours. Alternatively, they may contact the crime stop number, 0860010111,” appealed Thakeng.
