Maokeng police are in search of Nhlalo Sibanda in connection with a murder investigation. The police believe that he might be able to assist them with the murder in question.
On Sunday, April 9, Nhlalo Sibanda and his girlfriend Materonko Koloko allegedly attended a friend’s party. Nhlalo returned alone to his house which prompted Maokeng SAPS to open a missing person investigation and launch a search.
According to police spokesperson Josephine Rani, 0n Tuesday, April 11, members of the Maokeng SAPS and the Community Police Forum found a woman’s body in a field close to her home.
“The body was identified as Materonko Koloko (23) and pronounced dead on the scene. Nhlalo Sibanda (27) was the last person seen with the deceased.
The police hereby request assistance with tracing and locating him, as it is believed he can assist the police in the murder investigation,” Rani said.
Anyone with information pertaining Nhlalo Sibanda’s whereabouts is urged to call the officer in charge of this case detective Sergeant Jabulani Khumalo on 073 900 4892. “Alternately, you can utilize the My SAPS App or call Crime Stop at 08600 10111,” pleaded Rani.
