Botshabelo police appeals to public to help locate the deceased’s family

The Botshabelo SAPS have instigated a search hunt for the family of the unknown man who was found dead in the vicinity of Botshabelo township.

At around 12:30 on the December 3, a convoy was driving from a graveyard to head home. During this time, an unknown male tried to cross the road.

According to the police statement issued, a the victim was struck by one of the vehicles and was pronounced dead on the scene.

“The deceased is light in complexion, medium build and estimated to be between the ages of 55 and 60 years.

“He was wearing a black hat, navy blue overall top, a navy-blue chino and multicolour tekkies,” said sergeant Martin Xuma in a statement.

Attempts are being made by the police in Botshabelo to locate the deceased’s family.
