South African actress, media personality and a businesswoman Phindile Gwala is back on our screens.
This comes after she took time off to focus on her family and business. 11 months ago, Imbewu fans had to bid farewell to a feisty Fikile.
The former Muvhango actress said this time she will give her fans a double dose of her dazzling acting talent.
This week Imbewu the seed’s fans will witness the unexpected return of the sassy Fikile who will come back with more drama than before, the kind of drama that will keep viewers glued to their tv screens.
Additionally, the seasoned actress will also star on Mzansi Magic’s brand new Maskandi drama series that is shot at Ulundi, in KwaZulu-Natal, uZulu no Mhlaba where she portrays a character of MaNdlovu. In uZulu no Mhlaba, the talented actress expressed mixed emotions about her role, as she is portraying a ruthless character.
“This woman is very ruthless and harsh. She is different from who I am and what I have played before. I have to work 10 times more to bring this character to life,” said the talented actress.
Phindile is thrilled about her first Mzansi Magic gig and is looking forward to people watching it.
“I am glad people are now going to witness this character live every Sunday on Mzansi Magic 8pm. This is so exciting for me as it is my first gig on the Mzansi Magic drama series,” said Phindile.
The actress hopes her return to television will bring smiles and brighten up every household.
