Deep in the belly of a small township called Meloding in Virginia, lies an optimistic media mogul, Boitumelo Mokote, an upcoming television actress with diversified skills and attributes, she lives upon this key phrases, “Where there is a will, there is a way.”
It’s only for the courageous that turn their dreams into a reality, and this has to be the 28-year-old, who breathes to reap good benefits of life, as she commits her whole life in learning new skills and making her name in the media industry.
Coming from the township, that is well-known for having a high crime rate in the country, Boitumelo decided to make an effective change, as she plans to put the town on the map, and to change social perceptions about the township.
Boitumelo is an epitome of success, she hopes to set a bar high. She earned her Film and Television Production qualification at Tshwane University of Technology, and her stellar work has been noticed by not only the television industry, but mainstream media houses.
She’s mainly defined as a hands-on person with diverse skills ranging from juggling TV presenting to acting, from radio presenting to production. Her followers describes her as jack of all trades.
“Although my first love lies with television acting, I’m currently tapping into producing and proposing shows, juggling presenting. I want to be a Media Mogul overall,” highlighted Boitumelo.
“Growing up I’ve always wanted to be on television as a news anchor or television presenter/actress and in 2016, my dream finally became true as I appeared on SABC 1’s Yo-TV as a guest presenter afterwards, one would swear it was my television debut,” she says.
The resilient Boitumelo, says she continued to spin her life around the screens, as she scooped another opportunity, with SABC 1’s Fan Base where she opted in as a Contestant.
“Just shortly after that, I was invited to audition for a role of news reporter where I played the role of Tina Johnson in a movie titled ‘Wrong Numbers’, added Boitumelo.
Boitumelo continued to feature in multiple TV programmes, including the Mzansi Magic’s Date my Family, where she was a Bachelorette.
In 2016 she took an active role of being part of extra’s cast for the exclusive eTV’s Telenovela, Scandal!
