Rockland community members were left in shock after gruesome discovery of a new baby who was dumped behind Kagisanong Hall in Rockland, Bloemfontein on Monday.
The baby was found alive by a passer-by.
It is alleged that the infant, was found inside a red grocery bag still with a umbilical cord intact, and following this shocking discovery, community members contacted the local police to attend to the scene.
In a post shared on Facebook by Mahlodi Kesele Tshehlo, it appears as that the newborn baby was born on the same day she was dumped.
Tshehlo stated that the mother allegedly left the child and threw a stone on the roof of a house nearby for attention.
The police are still yet to find the mother of a newborn baby.
