Actor and a musician, Anga Makubalo who is popularly known as Naak MusiQ, stole the show last night in a much-anticipated celebrity boxing exhibition at Sun City, after thrashing Cassper Nyovest to win the battle.
Naak MusiQ claimed a hard-fought victory in a well-packed arena, where notable celebrities ands politicians came to honour this exclusive encounter between the two music heavy weights.
Refiloe Phoolo who is popularly known by his stage name Cassper Nyovest, had to retain his stunning record, following his debut last year, but coming to surprise, Mufasa had a competitive opponent this time around.
The match took place on the evening of Saturday, 9 April, at Sun City and was broadcasted live on DStv channel 209.
Many celebrities attended the match, this includes the likes of Big Zulu, Minnie Dlamini, Robot boii, Matshepo Sekgopi, Galaletsang Koffman and housemates of BBMzansi.
Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Ronald Lamola, also attended the boxing match.
The TV broadcaster and voice over artist, Shane Wellington, was the ring announcer of the night.
The match was glazed by performances from house music heavyweight, DJ Tira and legendary Kwaito music group, TkZee.
Many people doubted NaakMusiQ even Grammy Award winner, Black Coffee, put his bet on Cassper Nyovest.
He tweeted “ I love you both guys @NaakMusiq and @casspernyovest, my money is on @casspernyovest on this one. May the best man win,”
The siyathandana hitmaker won a match against the YouTuber Slik Talk last year and from there has been challenging many celebrity stars.
Fans and fellow celebrity stars has reacted to the winnings of NaakMusiq.
Other boxers who walked away with the victory in the night includes of Lucky Monyebane, Sikho Nqothele, Bukiwe Nonina, Simpiwe Konkco and Landile Ngxeke.
