South African writer, actress and film director Mmabatho Montsho cancelled her interview with Metro FM that was scheduled to take place at 8:10 am today.
This came after she was made aware that the show is in support of Pro-Israel by X users (formerly Twitter) for having an interview scheduled at 7:10 am with Millet Ben Haim.
“Thank you for alerting me that the show supports Zionist apartheid. I will not be doing the interview. If you are in Joburg please come to Constitution Hill and join the 1000 drums for Palestine at 10:am.
“We also have free (amazing) film screening. Free Palestine” Montsho qouted Metro Fm on X.
Metro FM also faced social media backlash for scheduling that interview and they have since deleted both interview posts from both their X and Instagram pages, and it is also reported that the interview with Haim did also not take place.
