Meet Jumbo Tsotetsi: Hustler of note!

In today’s world for safety reasons, everyone need a reliable transportation to reach their destination.

Jumbo Tsotetsi owns a transportation business called Jumbo On The Go, an e-hailing service that transports people and also doing deliveries.

The Welkom-born Jumbo told Kasi Voice News that, when he started his business he didn’t even know of e-hailing services, it was an inspiration for him to see people travelling from point A to point B.

The entrepreneur also mentioned that, his friend encouraged him because he believed that he was the best candidate for this business.

“A friend of mine was doing transportation business, but he wanted to stop and he encouraged me to start this business since he thought that I will be a best fit,” said Jumbo.

His love for transportation dates back in 2013, when he was transporting school kids after he left his job in the taxi industry.

Jumbo said that apart from doing transportation he is also a musician and his biggest achievement has to be being featured in Lesedi FM’s DJ Finzo song titled Sweet and Short that played on a music channel Channel O and various radio channels.

He further said that, he shared a stage with major gospel stars and sometimes he becomes an MC for local events.

Jumbo advised aspiring musicians to have a steady jobs while pursuing music as it is a difficult journey and managers will lie about contracts.

The entrepreneur said that his main challenge is the hike in fuel price and that affect his business as people do not want a taxi fair to increase.

Jumbo sometimes he get more clients but with the help of his friends he’s able to transport them.
