As the Country prepares for the upcoming Local Government elections, residents of Hoopstad also managed to hold their Community Policing Forum elections on Tuesday, 26 October 2021 at GM Polori Primary School at Hoopstad.
Mr Msihlo Wittes opened the elections meeting with prayer and Mr Teboho Mangena welcomed all members of the community. The candidates were presented and the election process took place.
Newly appointed members of Hoopstad Community Policing Forum are: Mokete Tomeng (Chairperson); Teboho Mangena (Deputy Chairperson); Dieketseng Pitso (Secretary); Sergeant Tiliza Dikhutso (Deputy Secretary) ; Ms Julia Matroos (Public Raltions Coordinator); Spasie Seoke (Treasurer) and two additional members Freddie Nkomo and Modise Thipe.

Lejweleputswa District Commissioner Major General Lerato Molale, welcomed newly appointed Hoopstad Community Policing Forum members. He further wished them well in ensuring that relationship between residents and SAPS stays healthy at times.
