Body parts of a male person were retrieved by the police after a community member tipped off the Clocolan SAPS about human remains discovered floating in Tuke river, Clocolan.

According to police spokesperson Phumelelo Dhlamini, the by-passer alleged to have been working at the dumping site near Tuke river, noticed a human chest with two arms without head and legs floating.

“To what came as a shocking revelation, the human chest with two arms was found wearing only a yellow T shirt,” said Dhlamini.

The postmoterm has revealed that the missing limps were cut off using a sharp object and it was a male person.

The identity of the person whose remains were found has not yet been established.
