The Thabong police station has become the latest of a list of stations that had to temporarily close due to Covid-19 in Free State.
“All communities serviced by Thabong local police station are advised that the police station has temporarily closed due to confirmed Covid-19 related case,” The Provincial Commissioner of the Free State, Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane said in a issued statement.
He furthermore apologised for any inconvenience caused by this closure.
The CSC will on the interim operate from the Crime Prevention Building which is inside the SAPS premises. The CSC emergency number is 082 848 8120.
“The building will be decontaminated for the duration of the closure and affected members will be subjected to necessary Covid-19 related protocols,” addressed Lt General Motswenyane.
The community will be informed once the station is operational again.
In Bloemfontein, the 10111 centre temporarily closed for decontamination. This is after a positive Covid-19 case was also detected.
