The police have arrested a 31-year-old African male suspect for murder in the Kopanong police station vicinity in Mangaung on Wednesday, 16 March.
Allegedly, the suspect argued with the victim over R5 to buy cigarettes in Caleb Motsabi informal settlement in February. Furthermore, the suspect went to his house to fetch a spade which he used to attack the victim.
After the incident, the 34-year-old was admitted to the where he passed away on Tuesday, 15 march 2022.
The suspect is currently in custody and will appear before Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 18 March.
